1. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed), certification level of interest.
• Usage data: questions answered, scores, weak-area analytics, mock-exam results, and app settings — to power your progress dashboard and adaptive engine.
• Watermark identifier: to deter content theft, the app overlays a watermark containing your account identifier and a timestamp on question screens. This is a security/anti-piracy measure.
• Payment data: processed by our payment processors (Stripe / Apple / Google). We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited billing metadata (e.g., purchase status, last four digits).
• Device/technical data: IP address, device/OS type, app version, and crash logs.
• Support communications: messages you send us.

2. How we use it

To provide and personalize the Service (adaptive practice, progress tracking), process lifetime purchases and subscriptions, validate current access and expiration dates, secure the Service and prevent content theft/fraud, provide support, send service and (with consent where required) marketing emails, and comply with law.

3. Legal bases (GDPR, where applicable)

Performance of contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, anti-piracy, product improvement), consent (marketing), and legal obligation.

Website analytics and your choice

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate website traffic and performance reporting. Cloudflare describes this service as using no analytics cookies or browser fingerprinting. Our current Cloudflare configuration excludes visitor data from the EU.

On impulse-learning.com, Google Analytics 4 loads only after you allow optional analytics. It measures page usage, public campaign tags, and actions such as choosing a product, following an app-store link, or selecting a contact link. Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies and processes technical information such as browser/device details and approximate location. These measurements help us understand which resources and products visitors find useful.

Our event integration excludes email addresses, contact-link destinations, account details, exam answers, arbitrary URL query parameters, and URL fragments. Referrer paths are removed. Advertising consent stays off, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled, and automatic enhanced interaction measurement is off in this property.

Choose Allow analytics or Decline analytics in the website notice. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. We save that choice in this browser for up to 180 days. A Global Privacy Control browser signal keeps optional Google Analytics disabled. Declining leaves Google Analytics unloaded on a fresh page; withdrawing consent stops future reporting from our integration and clears this site's first-party Google Analytics cookies. Data already collected is not automatically erased by changing your browser preference.

4. Sharing

We share data with service providers acting on our behalf: hosting, database, analytics, email, and payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google, and our hosting and email providers). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data to comply with law or protect our rights.

5. Data retention

We keep account and progress data while your account is active and as needed for legal/accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion (see Your rights).

6. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and the watermarking/anti-copy measures. No system is perfectly secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to opt out of marketing. We honor these requests for all users regardless of location: email support@impulsetestprep.com, we will verify the request via your account email and respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account (and its synced study data) yourself at any time from Settings in the app — see Delete your account and data for the full picture of what is removed and what we must keep. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Children

The Service is intended for users 13+ (typically adult EMS students). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us for deletion.

9. International transfers

If you are outside the United States, your data may be processed in the United States; we use appropriate safeguards where required.

10. Changes

We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
